THE COOPERATIVE WILL MANAGE THE PURCHASE OF THESE ANIMALS FOR THE PARTNERS

Everyone knows the importance of offering homogeneous and quality products in today's markets.. If we refer to the sheep sector, more specifically to the marketing of lambs, this incidence is more pronounced and takes on greater importance. Anyone farmer who does not present a homogeneous and quality offer will be outside the guidelines required by the market and therefore will obtain lower prices for their production.. Even in periods of oversupply, not only will you get lower prices, but you will have significant problems to output your production.
The Segureña breed is one of the most widespread in the region. It has a good adaptation to the conditions of our area, It is one of the breeds preferred by farmers and is demanded by commercial agents that operate in the sector..
Being aware of the existing need in our region to improve the genetic potential of our herds, this Cooperative, in its desire to improve the profitability of its associates' farms, is going to put into operation the joint purchase of reproducers of this breed.
The Remedies-Picasat, in collaboration with the National Association of Sheep Breeders Segureño will manage the acquisition of select breeders. The lambs that are acquired will come from highly selected herds and of a high genetic value. In principle, the purchase is focused on the acquisition of male reproducers of about 3 months of age, being possible to acquire other types of animals that the partner demands.
Any member interested in acquiring animals should contact the technician Juan Francisco Castro on the phone 650641304 O, in the central services of the Cooperative, ask for Loli: 956122138.
