Remedies Picasat has milled in the campaign 18/19 a figure that exceeds record 25 million and a half kilos of olives, obtained 4.308.000 kilos of a high quality oil.
On the other hand, Community production of olive oil has reached 2.235.174 tons, according to the latest data from the European Commission (THIS).
In Spain, the figure has reached 1.780.919 tons, staying alone 900 tonnes below the record harvest 2013/2014. As for Italy, It is expected a final production 175.000 tons (a 59,1% less than last season), while in Greece it is estimated at 185.000 tons (a 46,5% less than 2017/2018). To Portugal, production is planned 101.080 tons, a 25% less than in the previous season.
