BETTER MANAGEMENT AND EFFICIENCY IS INTENDED
Farmers are well aware of the particularities of current markets for the commercialization of lambs. Knowing that there are markets for different types of animals, all demand homogeneity and quality in the product. The Cooperative manages the fattening and grading center for lambs in order to unify and homogenize the offer, either by fattening jointly or by marketing the fattened lambs on their partners' farms.
The productive management of a feedlot involves its complexity, Especially if the rules established through its Internal Operating Regime are not complied with.. We must abide by organizational guidelines if we want to adapt the supply of animals to the market, for which the new operating standards will come into force, Obligatory for those farmers who want to participate in the fattening and marketing of lambs.
The new Operating Regime will regulate the collection system, will establish the input weights in the feedlot, lamb feeding and other parameters, being the foundation of all the cattle-cooperative commitment. This is to achieve a correct entry planning, optimize resources, dilute expenses and obtain a homogeneous and quality product. All this will allow a better management and efficiency of the feedlot, which will undoubtedly improve the remuneration to farmers for commercialized lambs.
This new regulation of Internal Regime will come into force as of the next 1 March 2017
To give knowledge of these regulations, we would like to invite our livestock partners to the meetings to be held in Olvera and El Bosque. The date and place of celebration of the same will be communicated shortly.
