Last Thursday 2 from December, we participate in the municipality of Villamartín, in a conference on Winter Pruning in the Almendro, organized together with Almendrera del Sur and the IFAPA of Alameda del Obispo.
Winter Pruning in the Almond Tree is one of the most important operations of the almond tree in its first three or four years., since it defines the support structure and the production organs, taking into account aspects such as the collection, growth typology according to varieties and cultivation systems (dry/irrigated).
For this reason, from the Cooperative we participate and organize this type of events every year to publicize and train farmers initiated in this crop and for those who want to come into contact with it..
The next day will take place on Monday 13 from December and that we will visit farms located in Torre-Alháquime, Setenil de la Bodegas and Ronda. The meeting point will be at the Los Remedios Cooperative at 8:30h, from which we will move to the municipality of Ronda.
