Delivered two important awards for oil Remedies

Cadiz Provincial Council today presented the prizes of the contest "Choosing the Best Extra Virgin Olive Oil Healthy in the Province of Cadiz», Los Remedios-Picasat being the best valued company, as the "liquid gold" of the Cooperative has won in two categories: "Best Healthy Ripe fruitiness" and "Absolute Best Healthy".
Oils selected for the first edition of this event had undergone a previous analysis laboratory, that determined their properties and the presence of polyphenols, substances by the European Food Safety Agency admits to guarantee salutary effect and transcribes, as such, on the labeling of the product. Eight of those olive juice became final and were tasted blind to see the initial sweetness on the palate and its progression in bitterness or itchy throat.

VISITS, TASTING AND COURSES

  • They organize guided tastings by technicians from the Cooperative and by technicians from the Olvera Denomination of Origin. They take place in our facilities of the Cooperative. They are aimed at schools, to consumer groups, hospitality schools, etc.
  • They organize you guided tours to the oil mill, checking the entire oil production process from the entry of the olive.
  • They are also organized visits to the field, to check the olive harvest and other crops.
  • They are taught training courses and talks on the cooperative activities.
