IT IS LOCATED NEXT TO OUR LOS GREDALES FACILITIES, IN OLVERA
La S.C.A. The Remedies-Picasat, in an effort to promote alternative crops, has created a field of pistachio mother feet to obtain buds, located next to our Los Gredales facilities, Olvera. The pattern used is UCB1, which will be grafted at the end of August this year on buds from the "El Chaparrillo" Center, thus guaranteeing the quality of the buds of the different varieties that we are going to produce.
The pistachio varieties that we will have buds (females and males) will be larnaka, Mateur and to a lesser extent Kerman. All of them will be available from the summer of 2018.
Bud grafting is an important operation on which our partners must be properly trained. Thus, It will try to organize a conference on grafting of the Pistachero between July and August 2017.
