APPLICATIONS MAY BE SUBMITTED UNTIL NEXT 15 OF JUNE
The Minister of Agriculture, Food and Environment, Isabel Garcia Tejerina, has announced the decision of the Sectoral Conference on Agriculture to extend the deadline for applications for assistance from the Common Agricultural Policy (PAC) until the next 15 of June, both applications and the modification of those already submitted.
With this extension of the term, that has been sued from different agricultural organizations, it has been intended, according to the minister, give peace of mind to farmers and ranchers in this first year of application of the new CAP.
According to García Tejerina, “Most of the Member States had asked for an extension and, once approved at the community level, there will be no problem to make it effective at the national level ".
On the other hand, The Minister of Agriculture recently announced the distribution of almost 48 million euros between the Autonomous Communities for the execution of agricultural programs, food and rural development.
