THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING APPLICATIONS ENDS ON 17 OF SEPTEMBER

The Official Gazette of the Junta de Andalucía (COLOR) has published the Order by which the regulatory bases are approved for the granting of aid aimed at the creation of companies for young farmers and makes its call for applications 2015.
The deadline for submitting applications ends the next day 17 September 2015.
These incentives, whose amount will oscillate between 30.000 basic euros per installation a 70.000 euros depending on the creation or maintenance of employment and the size of the business plan, are funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), the General State Administration and the Junta de Andalucía.
REQUIREMENTS FOR OBTAINING THE GRANT
Natural persons at the date of application for assistance:
a) Age: Between 18-40 years, inclusive.
b) Having started the installation process prior to the submission date of the aid application.
c) Possess professional training and skills.
d) Present a technically and economically viable business plan for the first installation on a farm. The applicant must settle in an agricultural holding for the first time as its owner. The submitted business plan cannot be modified later.
The condition of active farmer must be achieved within a maximum period of eighteen months from the date of the first installation.
AMOUNT AND TYPE OF AID
Maximum amount of the subsidy: 70.000 euros.
The installation aid may consist of an installation premium or an installation premium plus an interest subsidy..

With the aim of helping young farmers to join the agricultural or livestock activity, The technical services of the Cooperative will provide the necessary advice, the processing of the aid as well as the subsequent monitoring of the file.

VISITS, TASTING AND COURSES

  • They organize guided tastings by technicians from the Cooperative and by technicians from the Olvera Denomination of Origin. They take place in our facilities of the Cooperative. They are aimed at schools, to consumer groups, hospitality schools, etc.
  • They organize you guided tours to the oil mill, checking the entire oil production process from the entry of the olive.
  • They are also organized visits to the field, to check the olive harvest and other crops.
  • They are taught training courses and talks on the cooperative activities.
