FOUR GADITAN CHEESE COMPANIES HAVE OBTAINED AWARDS
Every year, about 250 judges select the best cheese references of different varieties and different countries. The competition has gathered in its latest edition 2.727 cheeses from all over the world.
The contest was held last 26 November in Birmingham (Britain), which is considered the most important international cheese competition.
15 Andalusian goat cheeses have obtained distinctive, highlighting the Gran Reserva cured goat cheese from the artisanal cheese factory from Granada "Las RRR", which has obtained the Supergold category. (super gold).
Pajarete cured goat and sheep cheese has obtained the Gold mention (oro), While others 5 have been awarded the Silver category (the payment) and others 7 have been awarded the Bronze category (bronze).
We also highlight that four cheese companies from Cadiz have won awards. In addition to the aforementioned Pajarete (Villamartín), are El Bosqueño Cheeses (The forest), Cheese Factory El Gazul (Alcalá de los Gazules) and Queso Payoyo S.L. (Villaluenga del Rosario)
